Dandelion Root

All of our dandelion root in stock has been dug by us by hand. We then soak it in spring water to get any dirt and bugs off while preventing the chemical laden water that Ohio seems to love so dearly. We then hang it in the root cellar to dry completely before we crush it with a Mortar and Pestle made from stone. You can see this being done in pictures 5-7. Dandelion is a "weed" to love. Its highly beneficial in various aspects and its actually part of the sunflower family. Like all of our other dried plants these are sold by the ounce.
